Be prepared! Video diaries will be appearing here soon, showing the boxers getting in to shape for the film, and learning the art of boxing. There is already a rivalry starting between the London team training Terry Spinks (the real life boxer, portrayed by actor Richard Bond) and the Welsh Winstone team.

Welsh Ex-Boxers Association

Ex-Boxers Don James, Eddie Avoth and Ken Buchanen as well as current professional boxers Joe Calzaghe, Dai Davies and Enzo Maccarenelli are helping Stuart Brennan prepare for the role of Howard Winstone.

The Welsh Ex-boxers have help provide a number of facilities to accomodate the production of the short film 'The Fifteenth' and are now actively helping to raise finance and public awareness for the feature film 'Risen', which will be in Cinema's later this year.                           

The notorious Terry Spinks!  A Londoner through and through, it is only right the  man playing this boxing icon, Richard Bond, should be trained by the best - Alan Minter and the London Ex-Boxers Association!

Highly motivated and a dedicated professional, Richard has already said he is expecting to rewrite history by knocking out Winstone in their first encounter in the ring!  Stuart Brennan simply laughed at this notion and said he can't wait to put his gloves on!
